The Club holds an annual exhibition on the Queens’s Birthday long weekend in June.

The Venue

The Exhibition is held at the Brickpit Stadium, Dartford Road, Thornleigh.


The stadium is located on Dartford Road in Kenley Park between Milson Parade and Pennant Hills Road (Cumberland Hwy A28)

Parking at the Venue is very limited. Please concider using the alternate options or catch public transport and leave the car at home.

EXTRA Parking is available at Thornleigh CityRail Station. Catch the Free Vintage Bus


Option #1 - Catch the Sydney Trains service to Normanhurst Station and Walk to the Show

Option #2 - Catch the Train to Horsnby and then get the FREE! Vintage Bus to the Show.


- FREE Vintage bus service from Hornsby and Thornleigh Railway stations

Catch the M60 Bus from Parramatta to Hornsby Railway Station, get off at the Campbell Avenue Stop and walk the short distance to the show.

Modelling Display/Competition


Epping Model Railway Club Inc announces its 2016 Open Model Display & Modelling Competition.

Models are invited for display over the three days of the Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend, with the option of entering model(s) for the Open Modelling Competition.

  • The modelling competition will include four categories:
    · Kit Built
    · Kitbashed
    · Scratch built,
    and
    and for the first time, to encourage modelling input into RTR (or any other ) loco or rolling stock…
    · Weathering


Details will follow in the coming weeks, but there will be no entry cost, though modellers will be limited to one entry in each category. 
Models will be accepted on Friday evening before the exhibition, or by exception (and prior arrangement eg for interstate visitors) on Saturday morning.

Entry forms including, a receipt, will be posted online, allowing them to be completed beforehand and  presented with each model.
Subject to sufficient entries, the competition will recognize the first three places in each category with a cash prize, with the possibility of HO modelling products – subject to support from the trade stands in attendance. 


Entry of three or more models into the competition will qualify the modeller with

....free entry into the exhibition!
